۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
