The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
