Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim 1 The revelation of the Book, there is no doubt in it, is from the Lord of the worlds. 2 Or do they say: 'He has forged it himself' Say: 'No, it is the truth from your Lord so that you can warn a nation to whom none has warned before you, in order that they are guided. 3 It is God who created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, in six spans, then assumed all authority. You have no protector other than Him, nor any intercessor. Will you not be warned even then? 4 He plans (all) the job(s) from the heaven to the earth – then it will return to Him on the Day which amounts to a thousand years in your count. 5 He is the knower of the Unseen and the Visible, the All-mighty, the All-compassionate, 6 The One Who created all things excellent, and Who initiated the creation of man from clay. 7 Then He made his seed from a draught of despised fluid; 8 Then He fashioned him and breathed into him something of a spirit from Him; and He ordained for you hearing and sight and hearts. Little is the thanks ye return. 9 They have said, "How can we be brought to life again after we have been lost in the earth?" In fact, they have no faith in the Day of Judgment 10 ۞ Say: 'The Angel of Death, who has been given charge of you will gather you then to your Lord you shall be returned' 11
