۞ But We shall say, "Assemble those who did wrong together with their associates and what they worshipped 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 “And stop them they are to be questioned.” 24 'Why do you not help one another? 25 Nay! on that day they shall be submissive. 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 They will say, "You used to come at us from the right." 28 They will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith! 29 We had no power over you, but ye were wayward folk. 30 "So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment). 31 We seduced you astray; verily we were ourselves the seduced ones. 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 Surely thus do We deal with the guilty. 34 For when it was said unto them, There is no Allah save Allah, they were scornful 35 And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 You will indeed taste a painful punishment, 38 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." 39 Except for God's sincere servants; 40 shall have a known provision -- 41 Fruits; and they shall be honoured, 42 In gardens of delight, 43 They will be seated upon couches set face to face; 44 A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs, 45 white and delicious to those who drink it, 46 There will neither be any harm in it for their body nor will it intoxicate their mind. 47 With them will be spouses, modest of gaze and beautiful of eye, 48 like closely guarded pearls. 49 And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 50 A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth] 51 Who used to say: 'Are you one of those who can testify to the truth? 52 (Do you think) we would be paid back our due when we are dead and reduced to dust and bones?' 53 Then he will say, "Shall we look for him?" 54 He looked down and saw (his friend) in the midst of Hell. 55 He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin, 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)! 57 Then he will say [to his blessed companions], "Are we not going to die, 58 except for our first death, and are we not chastised? 59 Most surely this is the mighty achievement. 60 and for the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 Verily, We have caused it to be a trial for evildoers: 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 Its produce is as it were the heads of the serpents. 65 They will eat and fill their bellies with it, 66 And behold, above all this they will be confounded with burning despair! 67 They can only return to hell. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 So they hastily follow their footsteps! 70 And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them, 71 though We had sent warners among them. 72 Look, then how was the end of those who had been warned, 73 Not so the chosen servants of God. 74
