Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a straight path; 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
