And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
