We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
