Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 storming tempestuously 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for an appointed time? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
