And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
