[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ. 55 “So I shall mete a severe punishment to those who disbelieve, in this world and in the Hereafter; and they will not have any supporters.” 56 “And for those who believed and did good deeds, Allah will give them their full reward; and Allah does not like the unjust.” 57 These are some verses that We recite to you, and advice full of wisdom. 58 The example of Eisa with Allah is like that of Adam; He created him (Adam) from clay and then said to him, “Be” – and it thereupon happens! 59 (Muhammad, the essence of) the Truth is from your Lord. Never have any doubt about it. 60 And whoso disputes with thee concerning him, after the knowledge that has come to thee, say: 'Come now, let us call our sons and your sons, our wives and your wives, our selves and your selves, then let us humbly pray and so lay God's curse upon the ones who lie.' 61 Verily this! it is the true recital; and God there is none save Allah, and verily Allah! He is the Mighty, the Wise. 62 But if they turn back, then surely Allah knows the mischief-makers. 63
