And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
