S (Saad)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Sad. By the renowned Qur'an, 1 Verily those who disbelieve are in vainglory and schism. 2 How many generations have We destroyed before them. They called: 'The time is neither of escape, nor safety' 3 They marvel now that, from among themselves, a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say: 'This is a lying sorcerer. 4 Has he made the gods [only] one God? Indeed, this is a curious thing." 5 And their leaders went about, “Leave him and cling steadfastly to your Gods! Indeed he has a hidden objective in this!” 6 Never did we hear of [a claim like] this in any faith of latter days! It is nothing but [a mortal man's] invention! 7 Has the reminder been revealed to him from among us? Nay! they are in doubt as to My reminder. Nay! they have not yet tasted My chastisement! 8 Or do they hold the treasures of the mercy of your Lord, the Almighty, the Great Bestower? 9 Have they control over heavens and earth and whatever [lies] between them? Then let them climb up to heaven by ropes: 10 But there - will be put to flight even a host of confederates. 11 Before them there have belied the people of Nuh and the 'Aad, and Fir'awn the owner of the stakes. 12 And Samood and the people of Lut and the dwellers of the thicket; these were the parties. 13 There was none of them but called the apostles liars, so just was My retribution. 14
