And We have not created the heaven and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain in vain. That is the opinion of those who disbelieve. And woe unto those who disbelieve from the Fire. 27 [For,] would We treat those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds in the same manner as [We shall treat] those who spread corruption on earth? Would We treat the God-conscious in the same manner as the wicked? 28 (This is) a Book (the Quran) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember. 29 We bestowed upon David (an illustrious son), Solomon. How excellent a servant (of Ours he was)! Indeed he constantly turned to Us in devotion. 30 When there were brought to him in the evening (horses) still when standing, swift when running-- 31 he said: 'Indeed I have loved the love of good things better than the remembrance of my Lord until the sun has vanished behind a veil. 32 Then he said "Bring them (horses) back to me." Then he began to pass his hand over their legs and their necks (till the end of the display). 33 And We indeed tested Sulaiman, and placed a dead body on his throne – he therefore inclined towards His Lord. 34 He prayed, "Lord forgive me! Grant me such power as no one after me will have -- You are the Most Generous Provider." 35 We therefore gave the wind under his control, moving steadily by his command wherever he wished. 36 as well as all the rebellious forces [that We made to work for him] - every kind of builder and diver 37 And others bound in fetters. 38 “This is Our bestowal. So give or withhold as you wish without account.” 39 And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return. 40
