The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
