Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And exalted your fame? 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 And unto thine Lord, attend. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
