On the Day that the enemies of God shall be gathered together and driven to the Fire, they shall be formed into groups, and 19 till, when they come close to it, their hearing and their sight and their [very] skins will bear witness against them, speaking of what they were doing [on earth]. 20 And they will say to their skins, "Why do you testify against us?" They will say: "Allah has caused us to speak, as He causes all things to speak, and He created you the first time, and to Him you are made to return." 21 Ye did not hide yourselves lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should testify against you, but ye deemed that Allah knew not much of what ye did. 22 And this is the assumption you had regarding your Lord, which has ruined you, so you are now among those who have been defeated. 23 Even if they are patient the Fire shall still be their lodging, and if they seek pardon, they shall not be among those who are pardoned. 24 ۞ We had assigned to them companions who embellished for them all that was before them and behind them. Thus the same decree (of chastisement) which had overtaken the previous generations of jinn and human beings (also) became due against them. Surely they became the losers. 25
