Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
God has made devoid of all virtue the deeds of those who have disbelieved and prevented others from the way of God. 1 But those who believe and do the right, and believe what has been revealed to Muhammad, which is the truth from their Lord, will have their faults condoned by Him and their state improved. 2 This because those who reject Allah follow vanities, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord: Thus does Allah set forth for men their lessons by similitudes. 3 So when you confront the disbelievers, strike at their necks; until when you have slain them in plenty, tie them up firmly; then after that, you may either release them as a favour or take ransom, until the war lays down its ordeal; this is it; and had Allah willed He Himself could have taken revenge from them, but this is to test some of you with others; and Allah will surely never waste the deeds of those who were killed in His way. 4 He will guide them and improve their condition. 5 And bring them in unto the Garden which He hath made known to them. 6 Believers, if you help Allah, He will help you and strengthen your feet. 7 But the unbelievers shall be the destroyed losers. He will bring their deeds to nothing. 8 It is because they are averse to what God has revealed that He has rendered their deeds futile. 9 ۞ Have they not travelled in the land to see the nature of the consequence for those who were before them? Allah wiped them out. And for the disbelievers there will be the like thereof. 10 That is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector. 11
