The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 and a few from later times. 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 Round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness), 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 like unto pearls [still] hidden in their shells. 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 And [banana] trees layered [with fruit] 29 and spreading shade 30 near to flowing water 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 and raised couches 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 chastely amorous, 37 for those on the Right, 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
