The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 Who will be honoured 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 Reclining face to face. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 and serried acacias, 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 near to flowing water 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 and upraised couches. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And made them virginal, 36 loving and of equal age. 37 For those on the right hand; 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
