▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
