Verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) are Gardens of delight (Paradise) with their Lord. 34 Shall We equate the Muslims to the guilty? 35 What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge? 36 Do you have a book from which you study 37 Surely therein you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Do you have a covenant with Us which allows you to do whatever you want until the Day of Judgment? 39 Ask them: “Which of them can guarantee that? 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 The Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostration but the disbelievers will not be able, 42 Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe. 43 Let Me alone with him who belieth this discourse; step by step We lead them on when they perceive not. 44 Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. 45 Or is it that thou dost ask them for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 46 Or have they (the knowledge of) the unseen, so that they write (it) down? 47 So wait with patience for the Decision of your Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish, when he cried out (to Us) while he was in deep sorrow. (See the Quran, Verse 21:87). 48 Had the favor of his Lord not come upon him, he would have been blamed, cast upon the shore. 49 But his Lord had chosen him and He placed him among the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 although this is nothing but an Exhortation (to goodness) for everyone in the world. 52
