Nay, by the moon, 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 A warning to mortals, 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 about the sinners. 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As if they were startled donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.
