Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 storming tempestuously 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 So like golden camels." 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
