He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 What made you think that he will not grow in virtue, 3 Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him. 4 Now as for him who believes himself to be self-sufficient 5 you attended to him, 6 although it is not for you to be concerned if he remained unpurified. 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment), 9 Of him wast thou unmindful. 10 These verses are a reminder 11 So whoever wills may remember it. 12 In honored books, 13 exalted, purified, 14 Written by the hands of emissaries. 15 noble and purified. 16 Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is! 17 Of what [stuff] has He created him? 18 From a drop of liquid; He created him and then set several measures for him. 19 Then doth He make His path smooth for him; 20 Then causeth him to die, and burieth him; 21 and then, whenever He wishes, He will raise him back to life. 22 Yet man declines to do His bidding. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 That We watered it in abundance. 25 and cleaved the earth, cleaving it asunder; 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and clover, 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 and gardens dense with foliage, 30 And fruit and grass - 31 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 32 But when there comes the Deafening Blast 33 on that Day a man shall flee from his own brother, 34 and from his mother and father, 35 And his wife and his children, 36 Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others. 37 Some faces that Day will be beaming, 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news. 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 and covered by darkness. 41 These will be the unbelievers, the wicked. 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
Practice memorizing the Quran (Hifz) with different levels from beginner to expert. Exercise pages hide some words depending on the level, also done in beautiful colors.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
