Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know all that you do: 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
