Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Illustrious scribes 11 who know of all that you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
