The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
