The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears will mind, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
