The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
