Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Have you heard the story of the overwhelming event (the Day of Judgment)? 1 Faces on that day humbled, 2 labouring, weary, 3 The while they enter the Blazing Fire,- 4 They will be given drink from a boiling spring. 5 they shall have no food but thorns, 6 which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. 7 Faces on that Day shall be delighted, 8 With their endeavour well pleased. 9 In a high Garden. 10 In which they will not hear any lewd speech. 11 In it there shall be a flowing spring, 12 Wherein are couches raised 13 And drinking-cups ready placed, 14 And cushions ranged! 15 and rich carpets levelled out. 16 Will they not regard the camels, how they are created? 17 And at the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And the hills, how they are set up? 19 and on the earth, how it is spread out? 20 Therefore do remind, for you are only a reminder. 21 You are not a dictator over them. 22 As for those who turn their back and disbelieve, 23 So Allah will mete out to him the greatest punishment. 24 Lo! unto Us is their return 25 and verily, It is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
