Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 And raised high your fame? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and let thy Lord be thy Quest. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
