The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
