The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The Clatterer! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
