The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
