Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 and so too will his wife who (threw thorns and firewood in the Prophet's way). 4 Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
