Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are its treasuries, and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
