Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 and guarded them from every accursed Satan 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
