And when the sent angels came to the house of Lut. 61 He said: "Ye appear to be uncommon folk." 62 They said, “In fact we have brought to you the matter which these people doubted.” 63 and we are bringing thee the certainty [of its fulfilment]: for, behold, we are speaking the truth indeed. 64 so leave with your family some time in the latter part of the night, and walk behind them. Let none of you look back. Go where you are commanded." 65 And We communicated to him the decree that by the morning those people will be totally destroyed. 66 The inhabitants of the city came in (mad) joy (at news of the young men). 67 He said: "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. 68 "But fear Allah, and shame me not." 69 They (people of the city) said: "Did we not forbid you to entertain (or protect) any of the 'Alamin (people, foreigners, strangers, etc. from us)?" 70 He said, “These women of our tribe are my daughters, if you have to.” 71 [But the angels spoke thus:] "As thou livest, [O Lot, they will not listen to thee:] behold, in their delirium [of lust] they are but blindly stumbling to and fro!" 72 An explosion struck them at sunrise. 73 And We turned the city upside down, and rained on them stones of hardened lava. 74 Surely in this are signs for those who examine. 75 And indeed, those cities are [situated] on an established road. 76 Indeed in that is a sign for the believers. 77 And the Companions of the Wood were also wrong-doers; 78 So We chastised them. The desolate locations of both communities lie on a well-known highway. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
