It is He who sends down to you out of heaven water of which you have to drink, and of which trees, for you to pasture your herds, 10 And with it He grows for you corn, and the olive and the date-palm and the grape, and all kinds of fruits. Surely, in that is a sign for a people who reflect. 11 He has made subject to you the Night and the Day; the sun and the moon; and the stars are in subjection by His Command: verily in this are Signs for men who are wise. 12 And [He has subjected] whatever He multiplied for you on the earth of varying colors. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who remember. 13 It is He who has subjected the sea to you, so that you eat of its soft flesh and bring up from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing their course through it in order that you seek His bounty and give thanks. 14 And He has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it shift with you, and [made] rivers and roads, that you may be guided, 15 and He has set other landmarks in the earth. And by the stars too do people find their way. 16 Is then He Who creates like one that creates not? Will ye not receive admonition? 17 If you count God's blessing, you will never number it; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 18 And Allah knows what you conceal and what you do openly. 19 But those whom you invoke, other than Allah do not create anything they are themselves created. 20 They are, [in fact], dead, not alive, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected. 21
