Recall how Moses said to his servant, "I shall not give up until I reach the place where both seas meet, even if it takes me years!" 60 But when they reached the junction of the two seas, they forgot their fish, and it took its way through the sea as in a tunnel. 61 And when the twain had passed by, he said unto his page: bring us our morning-meal, assuredly we have met from this journey of ours, toil 62 He said:"Do you remember when we betook ourselves to the rock? I indeed forgot the fish, none but Shaitan (Satan) made me forget to remember it. It took its course into the sea in a strange (way)!" 63 He said: This is what we sought for; so they returned retracing their footsteps. 64 And they found a servant from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge. 65 Moosa said to him, “May I stay with you upon the condition that you will teach me the righteousness that you have been taught?” 66 He replied, "You will not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 For how can you patiently bear with something you cannot encompass in your knowledge?" 68 Said Moosa, “Allah willing, you will soon find me patient and I will not do anything against your instructions.” 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
