Messengers! Partake of the things that are clean, and act righteously. I know well all that you do. 51 Your nation is but one nation, and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me. 52 Yet they have split their affairs between themselves into sects, each rejoicing in what it has. 53 Wherefore leave thou them in their bewilderment for a season. 54 Deem they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We enlarge them. 55 We vie in good works for them? Nay, but they are not aware. 56 Those who tremble with fear of their Lord; 57 And they who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 who consider nothing equal to their Lord, 59 and those who give to others what has been bestowed upon them with their hearts trembling at the thought that they must return to their Lord; 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 We charge not any soul save to its capacity, and with Us is a Book speaking truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 “Do not implore this day; you will not be helped by Us.” 65 My Signs were rehearsed to you and you turned back on your heels and took to flight, 66 “Priding yourself in serving the Sacred Mosque; at night you utter indecent stories in it, while discarding the truth.” 67 Pondered they not over the Word? or came there unto them that which came not unto their fathers ancient? 68 Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him? 69 Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain. 70 And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder. 71 Or dost thou ask of them (O Muhammad) any tribute? But the bounty of thy Lord is better, for He is Best of all who make provision. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ And even were We to show them mercy and remove whatever distress might befall them [in this life,] they would still persist in their overweening arrogance, blindly stumbling to and fro. 75 And indeed, We tested them through suffering, but they did not abase themselves before their Sustainer; and they will never humble themselves 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77
