Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
