Highly blessed is He, Who has made fortified spheres in the heavens and has set in it a "lamp" and a shining moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and the day, one proceeding the other, for whoever wants to take heed or give thanks. 62 And the servants of the Beneficent Allah are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace. 63 And who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing, 64 Those who say, "Our Lord! avert from us the Wrath of Hell, for its Wrath is indeed an affliction grievous,- 65 It is a terrible abode and an evil station," 66 And those who when they expend, are neither extravagant nor sparing, and it is a medium in-between. 67 And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; 68 [but] shall have his suffering doubled on Resurrection Day: for on that [Day] he shall abide in ignominy. 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- 71 And those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour. 72 Who, when reminded of their Lord's revelations, do not fall for them like the deaf and blind; 73 And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 SAY [unto those who believe]: "No weight or value would my Sustainer attach to you were it not for your faith [in Him]!" And say unto those who deny [the truth:] "You have indeed given the lie [to God's message,] and in time this [sin] will cleave unto you!" 77
