۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
