Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 The honest Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 Surely, it is foretold in the ancient scriptures. 196 Was it not a sign for them known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus it passes through the hearts of the criminals. 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 And it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive; 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 and then Our torment will strike them, 206 That which they were made to enjoy shall not avail them? 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 The devils did not bring it down. 210 They are unworthy of it, nor can they do it. 211 Indeed they have been banished from the place of hearing. 212 So do not call upon another god with Allah, lest you should be one of those who are punished. 213 Warn your tribe and your near kinsmen. 214 and lower your wing to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 And put thy trust in the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 who sees thee when thou standest [alone,] 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every lying sinner, 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets -- it is the misled who follow them. 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned. 227

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
