And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 Which the True Spirit hath brought down 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 And most surely the same is in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Was it not a proof for them that the learned men of Israel knew about this? 197 If We had sent it down on a barbarian 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter into the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 that will come upon them [on resurrection,] all of a sudden, without their being aware [of its approach]; 202 Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?" 203 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 then there comes on them that they were promised, 206 Of what avail shall their enjoyment be to them? 207 We never destroyed a village that did not have warners 208 for a reminder; and never did We wrong. 209 And the devils have not brought the revelation down. 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 They have been precluded from hearing it. 212 So call thou not upon another god with God, lest thou shouldst be one of those that are chastised. 213 Warn your tribe and your near kinsmen. 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 If they do not obey you, tell them: "I am not responsible for what you do." 216 Have trust in the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 Who watches you when you get up, 218 And your movements among those who fall prostrate (along with you to Allah in the five compulsory congregational prayers). 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 Who give ear, and most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets -- it is the misled who follow them. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And that they say what they do not do. 226 Except those who believe and do good and remember Allah much, and defend themselves after they are oppressed; and they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back. 227
