Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers, 3 upon the straight path. 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 Alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or thou hast not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
