The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring! 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
