Those who deny the truth will be told, "God's abhorrence of you is greater than your hatred of yourselves. You were called to the faith but you denied it." 10 They will say: “Our Lord, twice have You caused us to die and twice have You given us life. We have now confessed our sins. Is there, then, any way out?” 11 (The answer will be:) "This is because, when Allah was invoked as the Only (object of worship), ye did reject Faith, but when partners were joined to Him, ye believed! the Command is with Allah, Most High, Most Great!" 12 It is He who shows you His signs and sends down to you out of heaven provision; yet none remembers but he who repents. 13 So call on God with exclusive obedience, howsoever the unbelievers may dislike it. 14 Possessor of the highest rank, Lord of power: He makes the inspiration to light by His command upon whom He pleases of His servants, that he may warn (men) of the day of meeting. 15 (Of) the day when they shall come forth, nothing concerning them remains hidden to Allah. To whom belongs the kingdom this day? To Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all). 16 This day every soul shall be rewarded for what it has earned; no injustice (shall be done) this day; surely Allah is quick in reckoning. 17 Warn them against the Imminent Day when, choking with anguish, the hearts will be in their throats, the harmdoers will not have a single loyal friend, and there will be no intercessor to be obeyed. 18 Allah well knows the covert glance and all what lies hidden in the hearts. 19 With justice Allah will judge, but those upon whom they call, other than Him, can not judge anything at all! Allah is the Hearer, the Seer. 20
