The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
