The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the rangers ranging 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Verily your God is One. 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 And our forefathers? 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
